Universal webhook: every submission with an email or phone becomes a lead

An address to send whatever a form receives, from your website, WordPress, Zapier or Make. Every submission with an email or a phone number becomes a lead with its source, and everything it sent is kept in its record.

What the form sends

{
  "name": "Emily Carter",
  "email": "emily@brightsmiledental.com",
  "phone": "(555) 012-3456",
  "company": "Bright Smile Dental",
  "message": "Hi, we’d like to renovate the clinic’s waiting room. Could you come and take a look this week?"
}

Message

Hi, we’d like to renovate the clinic’s waiting room. Could you come and take a look this week?

Switch the language of the fields: the lead stays the same. Sample data.

How to connect it

  1. Create an address

    In Kubo CRM, under Integrations › Universal webhook, give it a name —“Website contact form”— and pick the source for its leads. One address per form: that way you know which one each lead came from.

  2. Copy it

    It’s shown in full only once. If you lose it, you swap it for a new one and the old one stops working right away.

  3. Paste it where the form is sent

    On your server, in the form plugin, in Zapier or in Make. Send a test submission: the lead shows up among the new ones, with its message in its record.

Where to send it from

  1. Your website

    Your website sends each submission from the server, like any form. Inside Kubo CRM, next to the address, there’s an example ready to copy.

  2. WordPress

    The easiest way is the Kubo CRM plugin, which connects Contact Form 7, Elementor, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Fluent Forms and Ninja Forms without touching each form: see the integrations. If you’d rather use the webhook, in Elementor Pro add its “Webhook” action, leave “Advanced Data” off (with it on, the fields arrive nested and the submission isn’t saved) and use labels such as “Name”, “Email”, “Phone” and “Message”.

  3. Zapier

    Whatever comes in through any of its apps —Meta Lead Ads, LinkedIn, an online store, any form— reaches Kubo CRM with its webhook step.

  4. Make

    The same, with its HTTP module. Inside Kubo CRM you’ll find the step-by-step guide for Zapier, Make and n8n.

Always call it from a server or a tool, never from a page’s code: in the browser, the address would be visible to anyone.

It understands your fields

It recognizes the usual field names —name, email, phone, company, message…— in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French, including the ones form plugins use.

Whatever it doesn’t recognize isn’t thrown away: it goes into the lead’s record as is, with its field name. And a first and last name that arrive separately are joined.

Every submission needs an email or a phone number: a lead has to come with some way to reply to it.

If the same customer writes again

If that email already has an open lead, the new submission is added to its record, with its message, instead of creating another lead. Along the way it fills in the details that were missing —the phone, the company— without overwriting the ones it already had.

If their lead is already closed, won or lost, the submission creates a new one: it’s another opportunity.

The address is the key

  • It carries a secret key, shown only when it’s created.
  • You can pause it or change it in one click, and the old one stops working right away.
  • One per form: if one leaks, you only change that one.
  • Attachments aren’t stored: a lead form isn’t a file drop.

We use it ourselves

The forms on this very website, like the contact form, reach our own Kubo CRM through the universal webhook.

Frequently asked questions

Does it work with Typeform or Tally?

Yes, with their own connection: in Kubo CRM, under Integrations › Typeform and Tally, you create the address to paste into their webhook, and Kubo CRM understands how they send the data. Jotform, Google Forms, Google Ads, Cal.com and Calendly have theirs too.

Can I send attachments?

No: any files that arrive are discarded and the rest of the submission is saved.

How many addresses can I create?

Each address is an integration, and your plan sets how many you can have active. See the pricing.

Do Zapier or Make cost extra?

Yes: they’re services from other companies, with their own plans. You don’t need them for your website or a WordPress plugin.

What if the form doesn’t ask for an email?

A phone number is enough. With no email and no phone, the submission isn’t saved: a lead has to come with some way to reply to it.
